Como casi todos los dias se conmemora algo, hoy se conmemora el día de la unificación de Italia, que se produjo el 20 de Septiembre de 1870, cuando las tropas de Garibaldi (llamado también "el héroe de dos mundos", de América y de Europa) entraron el los Estados Pontificios, que estaban siendo defendidos por las tropas francesas, invasoras de Italia junto con Austria, y consiguieron tomar el último bastión rancés que les quedaba por derrotar para expulsar a los paises invasores y así lograr una Italia unida con capital en Roma. Muchas guerras para conseguirlo, muchas muertes, por lo que no está de más recordar estas cosas. Forza Italia!
